* Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
* Must display a genuine interest in geriatric care, and compassion for the aging.
* Must possess an openness in maintaining a multi-disciplined team approach to health care of the elderly.
* Must have strong management skills.
* Must possess good skills in planning, organizing, directing and managing.
* Must possess a good sense of efficiency and delegation of work assignments.
* Must be knowledgeable and supportive of the community’s philosophy and objectives.
* Must be flexible and open to change.
* Must have a valid RN license in the state of Texas.
